University Leaders Lead a Delegation to Liaoyang to Promote University-Local Integrated Development

On April 20, Zhou Zhiqiang, Secretary of the CPC Committee of SYUCT, visited Liaoyang and held a symposium with Bai Ying, Secretary of the CPC Liaoyang Municipal Committee. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on further deepening university-local cooperation and promoting integrated development.

Secretary Zhou introduced the university’s Five-sphere Integrated university-local integrated development model, as well as the university’s overall progress in serving regional industrial development in depth and actively integrating into the full revitalization of Liaoning. He stated that Shenyang University of Chemical Technology maintains close exchanges and cooperation with Liaoyang, with a high degree of alignment between the university’s disciplinary strengths and local industrial development needs. He expressed the hope that the two sides will achieve integrated linkage in talent matchmaking, scientific and technological cooperation, alumni linkage, university-city coordination, and graduate employment, and jointly contribute the strength of SYUCT to Liaoning’s practice of Chinese-style modernization.

Bai Ying extended gratitude to Shenyang University of Chemical Technology for its long-term support for Liaoyang’s revitalization and development. She pointed out that batches of graduates from SYUCT have taken root in Liaoyang and founded enterprises, making tangible contributions to local economic and social progress. The university’s academic programs are highly aligned with Liaoyang’s industrial demands, laying a solid foundation and promising broad prospects for bilateral cooperation. She hoped that the two sides would further strengthen targeted specialized research breakthroughs and technical talent cooperation focusing on industrial upgrading and talent demand, hold targeted special recruitment fairs, and open up the university’s laboratories, popular science and study-tour resources to local communities, so as to realize resource sharing and mutual benefit and win-win results.

After the symposium, the university leadership delegation paid visits to Liaoning Kelong Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. and Liaoyang Xiangyu Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. to expand employment channels for graduates and conduct cooperation negotiations. They conducted in-depth discussions on talent demand and university-enterprise technological cooperation.

Yu Sansan, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC SYUCT Committee and Vice President of SYUCT, together with municipal leaders of Liaoyang including Lang Renshi, Li Ruojie and Zhu Fuchun, attended the relevant activities.
