University leaders attended both the opening and closing ceremonies. At the opening ceremony, accompanied by the stirring strains of the March of the Athletes, the National Flag Guard of Honour and delegation contingents from all participating units entered the stadium in an orderly and spirited manner. With vigorous and confident strides, resounding slogans, and formations executed in perfect unison, the participants delivered creative performances that embodied the uplifting and enterprising spirit of the faculty, staff, and students of SYUCT. In his address, Yu Sansan, Standing Member of the Party Committee and Vice President, noted that in recent years the University has continuously deepened reforms in physical education, strengthened the campus sports framework, vigorously promoted the coordinated development of mass participation activities and competitive athletics, and thoroughly implemented “the Special Action Programme for Improving Student Physical Fitness”. As a result, a culture of embracing sport, taking joy in physical activity, and pursuing excellence has taken firm root across the University, and the educational outcomes of physical education have seen marked improvement. He expressed his hope that all members of the University community would seize the opportunity presented by this Sports Meet to transform the fighting spirit, competitive awareness, and team cohesion displayed on the field into a powerful driving force for advancing the University's high-quality development and, in the new journey of building a strong nation and achieving national rejuvenation, to accelerate at full speed as the SYUCT generation of this era. Following nearly one and a half days of intense competition, the delegations of the Administrative Offices, the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, the School of Economics and Management, and the General Party Branch of the Logistics and Capital Construction Department finished first through fourth, respectively, in the overall staff team standings. In the student team standings, the delegations of the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, the School of Chemical Engineering, the School of Information Engineering, and the School of Materials Science and Engineering finished first through fourth, respectively. Six delegations—the Administrative Offices, the School of Science, the School of Marxism, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Chemical Engineering, and the School of Information Engineering—received the Sportsmanship Award in the staff category. Eight schools—the School of Information Engineering, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Computer Science and Technology, the School of Environmental and Safety Engineering, the School of Materials Science and Engineering, the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Science, and the School of Humanities and Arts—received the Sportsmanship Award in the student category. During the competition, three university records were broken: men's high jump (2 athletes), men's triple jump (1 athlete), and the mixed men's and women's 6×200-metre relay (1 team). The University Youth Volunteers Association was honoured with the Outstanding Contribution Award of this Sports Meet. At noon on 30 April, the closing ceremony was held, at which University leaders presented medals to the award-winning delegations.
