Main Structure of Phase I of SYUCT's New Student Dormitory Project Topped Out

On November 17, the main structure of 5 buildings in Phase I of the new student dormitory project of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology (SYUCT), constructed by China No.22 Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd., was successfully topped out. This marks a phased achievement in the project construction and lays a solid foundation for the scheduled completion in 2026. Qin Gaowu, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President, Yang Xueyin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President, as well as responsible persons from relevant university departments, the construction unit and the supervision unit attended the capping ceremony.

Leaders at the scene jointly wielded shovels to complete the hoisting and pouring of the last batch of concrete, announcing the achievement of the capping target.

Qin Gaowu pointed out at the scene that with the joint efforts of all parties, the project has achieved gratifying phased results in 2025. He required all units to continue maintaining the momentum of striving for excellence: first, to complete the finishing work before the end of the year; second, to plan in advance the “personnel, materials and machinery” arrangements for the mechanical and electrical installation, decoration and other stages to prepare for the resumption of work in spring; third, to strictly control the quality of materials, select green and environmentally friendly materials, and ensure the project is completed on time, with guaranteed quality and quantity. Huang Shibin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the First Branch of China No.22 Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd., the construction unit, stated that they will focus on the project completion target, continue to boost morale, carefully plan the next stage of the project construction, promote all processes in an orderly manner, and fully guarantee the project progress. The university’s project construction headquarters will continue to strengthen on-site management, strictly control quality, safety and progress, and promote the subsequent project construction to a higher standard.
