Our University Achieves Outstanding Results in 2025 National Social Science Fund Project Approvals

Recently, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences announced the approval results of the 2025 Annual National Social Science Fund Projects. Professor Li Hang from the School of Humanities and Arts of our university obtained approval for a general project titled Research on the Construction of New Professional Relationships in Social Work.

Meanwhile, the Department of Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education released the review results of the 2025 General Projects of Humanities and Social Sciences Research of the Ministry of Education. Associate Professor Xue Fu from the School of Marxism of our university was approved for a special project of Research on the Formation Logic and Practical Path of New-Quality Productive Forces from the Perspective of Epistemology under the Research on the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. Lecturer Xu Su from the School of Humanities and Arts secured approval for a Youth Fund Project entitled Research on the Inheritance and Innovation of Chinese Puppet Animation Techniques from the Perspective of Oral History (1947-2023).

As the highest-level projects in Chinas field of philosophy and social sciences research, the National Social Science Fund Projects and the Humanities and Social Sciences Projects of the Ministry of Education are key indicators to measure the level of social sciences research and core competitiveness of universities. Securing approvals for both types of projects simultaneously for two consecutive years indicates that the research strength of our university in the field of social sciences has been steadily improved.

In recent years, our university has made systematic planning and scientific layout, persisted in carrying out organized scientific research, built social sciences research work with the characteristics of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, continuously improved the scientific research management system, and increased resource support. These efforts have created a sound environment for teachers to concentrate on scientific research. The achievements in this project approval are not only a positive response to the universitys promotion of the reform of scientific research systems and mechanisms and the strengthening of organized scientific research, but also a concentrated reflection of our university teachers dedication to academics and their commitment to innovation.
