Shenyang University of Chemical Technology was Invited to Participate in “2026 Northeast China Universities Baoying Tour” Activity

From January 22nd to 23rd, the “2026 Northeast China Universities Baoying Tour” activity was held. Fourteen universities from Northeast China, including Northeastern University, Liaoning University, and Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, were invited to participate.

On January 23rd, the “2026 Northeast China Universities Baoying Tour” symposium was held at the Baoying County Government. Zhao Bin, Member of the Party Committee of Yangzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Director of the Human Resources Market Management Office, and Hao Ji, Member of the Standing Committee of the Baoying County Party Committee and Executive Deputy County Mayor, provided detailed introductions respectively on the regional development status and talent introduction policies of Yangzhou City and Baoying County. In her exchange speech, Wang Yingyu, Deputy Director of the University’s Admissions and Career Services Office, gave a detailed account of the university’s achievements in recent years in disciplines, majors, scientific research, and talent cultivation, with a special focus on promoting the university’s 2026 graduating class. The meeting also presented appointment letters as Baoying County’s “Talent Recruitment Ambassadors” to the representatives from the 14 invited universities.

On January 22nd, organized and coordinated by the Baoying County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the university’s participants visited Baosheng Technology & Innovation Co., Ltd., Yangzhou Chenhua New Materials Co., Ltd., Zhongna Energy (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd., and J&T Express Jiangsu Baoying Intelligent Supply Chain Industrial Park to conduct enterprise visits and job expansion activities aimed at promoting employment. They held in-depth discussions with relevant corporate human resources personnel on topics such as talent supply and demand. All four companies expressed demand for graduates from the university’s related majors such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Materials Science, and stated they would actively participate in the spring campus recruitment activities.

Baoying County, a county under the jurisdiction of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is a provincial-level fiscally directly administered county. It is located in central Jiangsu Province, on the northern edge of Yangzhou City. Currently, the county has a total of 643 industrial enterprises above a designated size, primarily in electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing. In 2025, the operating revenue reached 98.409 billion yuan, with a total profit of 4.512 billion yuan.
