SYUCT Successfully Selected as a Participating Institution in the 2025 “Study for Dreams” Initiative for Industrial Workers

On August 27, the Department of Vocational and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education released the list of participating universities for the 2025 “Study for Dreams” Initiative for Industrial Workers, and SYUCT was successfully included.

To implement the Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Deepening the Reform of Industrial Worker Team Construction and the Outline of the National Education Power Construction Plan (2024-2035), and to carry out the Opinions on Widely Implementing the “Study for Dreams” Initiative to Promote the Improvement of Industrial Workers’ Academic Qualifications and Competences jointly issued by four ministries and commissions, namely the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Department of Vocational and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education issued a notice in May 2025 on well conducting the work of the 2025 “Study for Dreams” Initiative for Industrial Workers. After receiving the notice, the School of Continuing Education attached great importance to it, carefully carried out the application work under the leadership of Vice President Wang Guogang, and successfully obtained approval.

Our university has been deeply engaged in the field of continuing education and is fully committed to advancing the development of lifelong education. Recently, it has signed joint training agreements with units such as Hangjin Jixi Chlor-Alkali Chemical Co., Ltd., Dalian Huayi Lithium Battery Co., Ltd., Panjin Sanli Zhongke Co., Ltd., and Shenyang Chemical Group. This initiative not only serves the development of the regional economy and meets the urgent needs of industrial workers to improve their academic qualifications but also enhances the university’s reputation and influence.
