Shenyang University of Chemical Technology Receives Provincial Honors for Aesthetic Education

Recently, the Department of Education of Liaoning Province issued the “Notice on Announcing the Commendation List for the 2025 Liaoning Province Sports and Aesthetic Education Infiltration Action Plan” (Liao Jiao Tong [2026] No. 34), publicly commending the units and individuals that performed excellently in the 2025 Aesthetic Education Infiltration Action Plan. The School of Humanities and Arts of our university was rated as a Commended Unit for the Liaoning Province Aesthetic Education Infiltration Action Plan; at the same time, full-time aesthetic education teachers An Na and Bi He were both rated as Commended Teachers for the Liaoning Province Aesthetic Education Infiltration Action Plan.

In 2025, Shenyang University of Chemical Technology was approved for the Liaoning Province Aesthetic Education Infiltration Action Plan project for the third consecutive year, precisely assisting Xutai School in Xinmin City with the themed infiltration activity “Clear Breeze Transforms Beauty.” The university adheres to fostering virtue through education, taking student development as the fundamental principle; adapts measures to local conditions, focusing on refining the regional cultural characteristics of Xinmin City; insists on coordinated development, aiming to establish a long-term mechanism for government, universities, and primary/secondary schools to work together. By combining experience in aesthetic education teaching with the expertise of art major teachers, leveraging the professional advantages of the School’s social work program, advocating coordinated development, the university comprehensively implements aesthetic education infiltration from four perspectives: aesthetic education curriculum teaching, practical activities, campus culture construction, and teacher team development. Through deepening practical work, a multi-channel, multi-level three-dimensional radiating infiltration has gradually formed, effectively enhancing the aesthetic education outcomes in the assisted schools.

Being rated as a provincial Commended Unit and selected for the Commended Teacher Volunteers list this time is a full affirmation by the Department of Education of Liaoning Province of the practical achievements of our university’s Aesthetic Education Infiltration Action Plan, as well as a reflection of our university’s responsibility and commitment to leveraging its professional advantages to serve local education.

The Aesthetic Education Center will continue to strengthen the Sports and Aesthetic Education Infiltration Action Plan, especially deeply exploring the practical paths of AI-empowered aesthetic education, bringing more professional art resources into basic education classrooms, nurturing the heart and cultivating character through aesthetic education, and contributing the wisdom and strength of our university to empower rural revitalization, serve the comprehensive revitalization of Liaoning, and promote the high-quality development of the province’s education.
