Recently, the mechanical industrial science and technology conference was held in Beijing. “Yangtze River Scholar”, Vice-President, Prof. Zhang Yimin of SYUCT won the title of “Innovation Leading Talent in Machinery Industry” of “The Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, which signifies that the our university’s mechanical engineering discipline with Professor Zhang Yimin as the leader is among the top research and development level in China. According to the China Machinery Industry Federation’s “Decision on Commending for the Twelfth Five-Year Plan for Advanced Technology Workers, Outstanding Innovative Teams, and Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievements in the Machinery Industry,” the country has only selected 50 leading scientists and technicians for mechanical industry innovation.

National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker, Young Expert of Science and Technology of China Machinery Industry, Innovative Talent of GM China in the Automotive Industry of China Universities, Member of International Steering Committee of the Asian-Pacific Regional Conference on Vibration, Innovation Leading Talent in Machinery Industry of The Twelfth Five-Year Plan of China and Leading Talent of Liaoning Province , Member of the Third Decision-making Advisory Committee of Shenyang City Party Committee and Shenyang Municipal People's Government, and counselor of Shenyang Municipal People's Government，Vice Chairman of the Council of Liaoning Mechanical Engineering Society, Chairman of the Council of Liaoning Vibration Engineering Society.
