Computer Science and Technology (Master)

At present, the School of Computer Science and Technology has the first-level discipline of computer science and technology, and it has the authority to confer academic master’s degrees in science and engineering, as well as a professional master’s degree in electronic information..It has three second-level discipline directions: computer network and security, artificial intelligence and computer application technology. It has teaching and research platforms above provincial and municipal level, such as Liaoning Key Laboratory of Intelligent Technology of Chemical Process Industry, Shenyang Key Laboratory of Digital Intelligence Technology of Chemical Industry and Liaoning Province Joint Training Demonstration Base for Professional degree graduates. Joint training of postgraduate students with the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The college has a group of tutors with strong scientific research ability and rich teaching experience,and has strong strength in the research directions of Industrial Internet of Things, big data analysis and application, pattern recognition,underwater Internet of Things and chemical process simulation. Among the tutors are famous teachers of Liaoning Province, Provincial “One Hundred and Thousand People Program” Hundred and Thousand Level Talents, National Excellent Innovation and Entrepreneurship tutors, innovative talents of colleges and universities of Liaoning Province, excellent postgraduate tutors of Shenyang City, etc.

In recent years, the discipline has undertaken more than 50 national, provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects such as National Science and Technology Support Plan projects, National Natural Science Foundation projects, foreign experts projects and Liaoning Province industrial key research projects. More than 500 papers have been published in academic journals and conferences at home and abroad, and more than 10 papers have been retrieved by SCI and EI.
