Teaching Staff

The university vigorously implements the strategy of strengthening the school with talents, implements the “Soaring Scholars” promotion plan, gathers a group of influential discipline leaders, academic leaders, and academic backbones at home and abroad, and strengthens the construction of a high-level talent team. Emphasis is placed on teacher training, with full-time introduction and cultivation of national level high-end discipline leaders as the “soaring scholars” of our university. At the same time, nearly 20 high-end leading talents such as academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering are flexibly introduced as “revitalization scholars”. The university currently has 1028 full-time teachers, including 5 national high-level talents and 29 provincial and ministerial level high-level talents. There is one academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK, three top scientists in the top 2% of the world, one “National University Huang Danian Style Teacher Team”, 15 outstanding teacher teams in the national petroleum and chemical industry, innovation teams and teaching teams in provincial higher education institutions. Nearly 20 high-end talents including academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Hundred Talents Program have been introduced flexibly.
