Guided by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, hosted by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, and organized by Huanqiu.com, the competition attracted active participation from nearly 130 universities, language schools and Confucius Institutes. Thanks to its solid efforts in event organization, work collection and participant guidance, SYUCT was honored with the Outstanding Organization Award. This marks the first time that SYUCT has won an award in this national competition. At the award ceremony, Xi Ru, Second-Level Inspector of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, Lord Jo Johnson, former Minister of State for Universities, Science, Research and Innovation of the UK Department for Education, together with other Chinese and foreign guests, presented certificates to award representatives in turn and took group photos. This honor fully recognizes the achievements of de university in international student education as well as cross-cultural exchanges, as acknowledged by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education and the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange. Going forward, the university will continue to leverage various cultural exchange activities as a platform for international students in China to showcase themselves and engage in exchanges. It will support international students in telling China’s stories well and spreading China’s voice, so as to further improve the quality of education for international students and enhance the university’s global influence.
