The group first visited Liaoning Province Chemical Static Mixing Reaction Professional Technology Innovation Center. Prof. Wu Jianhua, national model teacher and leading talent of Liaoning Province, introduced the application of international leading chemical static mixing reaction technology in Liaoning Province. Director Tian Dongquan pointed out that the static mixed reaction technology has helped many state-owned enterprises in our province to transform and upgrade their industrial technology. In the future, this technology will be further promoted and applied in the field of environmental protection.
Soon after, the research group came to the training center for polymer molding and processing. Director Tian Dongquan listened to the report of Fang Qinghong, a provincial labor model and professor from the School of Material Science and Engineering, on a series of scientific research achievements in the field of basic and applied research of natural Eucommia ulmoides gum, as well as the introduction of rubber and plastic production lines. Director Tian Dongquan said that SYUCT has a characteristic material science and engineering discipline, especially rubber and plastic materials with high performance, in Northeast China. In the future, more achievements should be made in personnel training and scientific research, so as to further contribute to the fields of aviation and national defense.
In the Ministry Key Laboratory of resources, chemical industry and materials, President Prof. Xu Guangwen, chief scientist of the national "973" project, introduced the application of the internationally advanced technology achievements developed by the team in Liaoning Province, including waste tire oil refining, biomass waste energy conversion and magnesite light burning technology. Director Tian Dongquan highly affirmed the school's innovative science and technology and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and said that the center will continue to support the rapid growth in the number and quality of the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and jointly promote the construction and development of the "1+5 bases" in Liaoning Province.
