Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Liaoning Province having released the list of the provincial technology transfer model institutions in 2018, the Technology Transfer Center of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology was successfully selected, which is another achievement made by our university in the construction of the technology transfer institution after it had been approved last year as a technology transfer model institution of Shenyang.
The selection of “the provincial technology transfer model institutions” is an important measure taken by the Provincial Department of Science and Technology to further strengthen the construction of technology transfer institutions, give play to the demonstration role of technology transfer institutions, and promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the implementation of technology transfer. According to “the Management and Implementation Rules for Accreditation of the Technology Transfer Model Institutions of Liaoning Province”, only 18 institutions in the province were selected this year, after the recommendation of the departments in charge above the provincial level and the evaluation and argumentation of experts.
Taking the opportunity of being approved as a provincial technology transfer model institution, drawing on domestic and foreign advanced experience and combining our own advantages and characteristics, our university will gradually improve the technology transfer service pattern, and open up the “last kilometer” of the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and thus service for the revitalization of Liaoning economy.
