On November 29th, the Provincial Department of Education announced the “The List of Demonstration Colleges and Specialties Converting to Application Model of Common Undergraduate Colleges of Liaoning Province”. Seven majors of SYUCT were selected, including Chemical Engineering and Technology, Process Equipment and Control Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Polymer Materials and Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Machinery Design and Manufacturing, and Automation.

   The seven specialties of our university will actively use the selected demonstration as an opportunity to continue to further promote the transition to applied models, give play to the leading role of demonstration, and create and accumulate experience for other majors to promote the transformation and development.
