Research Progress on Core Technologies in the Industrial Internet of Things Perception Layer

Professor Wang Jun and his team are mainly engaged in research work in the field of industrial Internet of Things.On the one hand, it is the core technology research in the industrial IoT perception layer, and on the other hand, it uses its research results to actively promote the construction of the IoT demonstration and verification platform for industrial typical applications. At present, the research on these two aspects has been funded by national, provincial and ministerial level research funds, and has made breakthrough progress. Additionally, they has published more than 30 papers in SCI and EI, and has obtained a series of staged achievements with independent intellectual property rights and provincial and municipal natural academic achievements awards. Some of its technology has been directly translated into economic and social benefits. At this stage, as the consortium of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, the person in charge is participating in the national demonstration project - the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's intelligent manufacturing special project, high-precision electronic new material intelligent factory integrated application demonstration project, totaling 380 million yuan.(Joint office letter 【2016】337).

.Research on Core Technology in Industrial IoT Perception Layer

  • At the network architecture level, the architecture of UWB-based industrial networked control system is established, which enables the industrial control network system to realize the integration of positioning, information identification, control, monitoring and diagnosis. And proposing the topology and related mechanism of UWB-based industrial wireless networked control system. Redundancy of wireless links without the need for additional hardware. That is, only one feasible selection path can serve many original paths, and this path serves a backup path to improve the transmission path redundancy. as the picture 1 and 2 shows. Relevant results won one second prize and three third prizes of provincial academic achievements .

  • At the wireless network protocol level, the TSHAF-MAC protocol(Hybrid CAP and CFP based on Time Slot MAC)is proposed for the scheduling problem of the communication task of the industrial networked control system in the data link layer. The protocol assigns a period of competition and non-competition in each superframe based on periodic communication tasks and aperiodic communication tasks in the industrial-grade Internet of Things, as the picture 3 shows. Taking into account the periodic communication tasks issued by the upper layer and the real-time scheduling of the non-periodic communication tasks in the data link layer, it can effectively alleviate the negative impact of the serious degradation of communication quality of wireless technology in industrial environments on industrial network applications. The scientific and technological achievements obtained the invention patent authorization and realized the transfer of results in Liaoning Province.

Using the research results of the core technology of industrial IoT to establish an advanced industrial IoT oil production process monitoring simulation experiment platform in the province, as the picture 4 shows:
