​Wang Xiaochun,served as the vice president of North China University of Technology

Wang Xiaochun graduated in 1978, with a major in Chemical Equipment and Machinery. In 1991, he served as the vice president of North China University of Technology, then the president in 2001. Panjin, Liaoning is his original family home. Wang is a member of the Communist Party of China, a Doctor of engineering, a professor, and a doctoral supervisor. He joined the work in December 1969. He graduated from Northeastern University with a master's degree in engineering mechanics in December 1981. He gained a master's degree in engineering mechanics from Tsinghua University in June 1996. He has worked for three years as a visiting scholar and senior visiting scholar at the Ibaraki University and Waseda University in Japan. He has long been engaged in the research of engineering mechanics such as electromechanical engineering, composite mechanics, computational mechanics, and elastoplastic mechanics. In recent years, he has been engaged in the development and application of energy-saving and environmental protection equipments. He is the vice chairman of the Beijing Institute of Mechanics, the executive director of the China Nonferrous Metals Society, and the editorial board of the journal Engineering Mechanics.
