At 7:40 in the morning, school leaders came to each teaching building to welome the teachers and students, sending them the first greetings of the new semester.Later on, school leaders walked into the classroom and took the first class with teachers and students together.
During the class, the school leaders had deep communication with the teachers and students on the teaching content, teaching methods, learning methods and learning thoughts.
Party Secretary Wang Qiang praised the teaching level and teaching ability of Xu Feng, a teacher of MarxismAcademy.He mentioned that Xu Feng’s lecture was thorough for students to understand, and the classroom effect was wonderful.At the same time, Secretary Wang Qiang put forward three hopes for the students: one is that students should pay great attention to the use of textbooks; second is to hope that students could make serious studies on the party's innovation theory; three is to hope that students couldnot only pay attention to the country's economic and social development, but also watching the development of higher education, keeping eyes on the rapid development of SYUCT. The university is about to realize the “five dimensions of development” in the future, namely, innovative development, inclusive development, sustainable development, open development and shared development.
Xu Guangwen affirmed Ji Xiaolei, teacher from the department of mathematics and science, for her logical and coherent teaching. He then suggested that in the future, the technical terms should be marked with equivalent English on the blackboard, teachers need to enhance the interaction with students, and so on. President Xu pointed out that mathematics is the foundation of engineering study and will play a crucial role in future professional study. He hoped that the students could cherish the university time, take the study seriously, strive to complete the university courses with excellent results.
