On June 3, Academician Fedin, the Chief of the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief scientist Professor Kosinova, Professor Morozova, Professor Mrionov and Professor Varian of the Institute of Organic Sciences of the Romanian Academy of Sciences Come to visited our university.
President Xu Guangwen issued a letter of appointment to Professor Varian, Professor Mrionov and Professor Morozova, appointing them as the guest professor of the university.
Subsequently, Prof. Fedin, Professor Kosinova, Professor Morozova and Professor Mrionov gave lectures regarding "DI Mendeleev and the International Year of the Periodic Table" , "Boron-containing compounds as single-source precursor for Function films formation" , "Fabrication and Operating Characteristics of MOCVD Coatings on the Base of Platinum Group Metals", and "Rhenium chalcogenide cluster compounds", respectively, which were novel and informative. This year is the 150th anniversary of the discovery of the periodic table of chemical elements by the Russian chemist Mendeleev. The experts briefly introduced the commemorative activities held by the school and encouraged the teachers and students to actively participate in the chemical industry and contribute to the world’s chemical industry.
