On May 14th, Shenyang University of Chemical Technology held the Seminar with the- Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences regarding chemical application technology exchange. The seminar was held in the eighth conference room in our university. The seminar invited the researcher of Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Researcher Han Yizhuo from the National Center for International Joint Research - Shanxi Coal Chemical International R&D Center, Shanghai Institute of Advanced Studies, Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Researcher Hu Jun from the Institute of Micro-Interfacial Physics and Detection of CAS, Researcher Zhang Yi from Shanghai Institute of Advanced Studies, Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Researcher Zhou Hongsheng from the Institute of Acoustics of CAS, and other significant members from various Institutes participated in the seminar.
Researcher Han Yizhuo, researcher Hu Jun and researcher Zhou Hongsheng have made high-level academic reports. Researcher Jiang Junxiang introduced the technology research and development and results transformation platform, new mechanism and new model construction of the National Technology Transfer Center of Shanghai Branch. Researcher Han Yizhuo introduced the innovative research and achievements of the research team in the field of carbon dioxide conversion and utilization. Researcher Hu Jun introduced the concept of nanobubbles, singularity, applications in water treatment, and the internationally leading research and achievements of the research team in the field of nanobubbles. Researcher Zhou Hongsheng introduced the excellent performance of continuous flow ultrasonic chemical reactor in terms of pressure, temperature and safety, and the innovations achieved by the research team in the research of the reactor. Professor Wang Na from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Associate Professor Shi Lei from the School of Applied Chemistry, and Mr. Dang Pengfei from the School of Energy and Power Engineering gave academic reports regarding their researches on flame retardant, polymer materials, development of new technology for catalytic synthesis of lithium ethyl carbonate and hard coating, and the dynamics modeling of layers of blades, respectively.
After the reports, President Xu Guangwen hosted an exchange seminar on the cooperation between the two parties. The participating experts put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions on the future construction of related disciplines in our university, the joint development of science and technology public relations, and the joint development of talent training programs. The two sides came into preliminary cooperation intentions regarding the joint cultivation of graduate students, the joint development of R&D and industrialization of new materials for magnesium chemical industry, the utilization of cutting-edge technologies, including nanobubbles and ultrasonic chemical reactors to carry out scientific and technological public relations.
