On November 24th, Prof. Bai Wei, Party Secretary of SYUCT and Prof. Xu Guangwen, Vice President of SYUCT made a special trip to the People's Government of Haicheng City to discuss matters related to the landing of the Industrial Project of Magnesium Resources Utilization Technology. Haicheng City’s Party Committee Secretary Sun Juxian, Mayor Wen Ran, Executive Vice Mayor Song Wei, Administrative Committee Director of Haicheng Ximu New City Zhang Yongtai, Haicheng City Government General Secretary Hu Yaohui and others attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Part Secretary Bai Wei first introduced the main measures of SYUCT to fully create the technological innovation of the utilization of magnesium resources and promote the application of the technology industrialization of our university and the purpose of this visit to Haicheng City. Bai Wei also expressed his appreciation to the Haicheng municipal government for their consistent support to the relevant work of our university, looked forward to combining the construction of our university's peak disciplines of energy and chemical with the concrete implementation of innovative technologies in the industrialization of Haicheng, and promoted the close cooperation between SYUCT and Haicheng to a new height.
Prof. Xu Guangwen briefly introduced the work progress and technology maturity of various sets of technologies that have been successfully developed by the Research Institute of Energy and Chemical Industry Technology of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology. He also pointed out that the successful completion of Haicheng’s technology industrialization project will promote the upgrading of magnesite mines in Liaoning and the country using core common technologies, and realize the upgrading of key industry sectors in the industry, completely resolving the problems of long plagued the sustainable development of the industry, such as current high energy consumption, pollution, poor production environment, and low production efficiency and so on.
Mayor Wen Ran first expressed warm welcome and heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Haicheng government for the arrival of the Party Secretary Bai Wei and his group. He fully affirmed the important role played by SYUCT in sending scientific and technical deputy cadres to Haicheng to the development of the local magnesite industry, and highly recognized the advanced nature of the magnesite utilization technology proposed by Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, and the transformative and leading significance of demonstration and promotion to the development of the magnesite industry in Haicheng.
At last, Sun Juxian, Secretary of the Haicheng City Committee, concluded that thinking on the project's investment promotion should be expanded. Focusing on high-end talents, teams, and their advanced technology projects is an important step in breaking through the lack of good projects and hardship in attracting investment. The Magnesium Resources Utilization Technology of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology turned into landing industrialization project in Haicheng is the best case. The municipal party committee and municipal government fully support and provide comprehensive services.
After the meeting, Song Wei, the Standing Deputy Mayor of Haicheng, escorted the Paty Secretary Bai Wei and his group to the site of the project to investigate the conditions for the settlement of the project, and discussed with the responsible persons of the relevant departments of the park on how to speed up the implementation of the land.
