A few days ago, we learned from the “2017 Annual Conference of Coal Chemicals Branch of the National Coal Chemicals Standardization Technical Committee and National Standards Review Conference” held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province that the 2 national standards, “Synthetic Natural Gas from Coal for Vehicles” and “Alcohol-based Aromatic Hydrocarbons” which were drafted by the participation of the Energy and Chemical Industry Technology Research Institute of our university, has passed the review of this meeting and will be submitted to the National Standardization Management Committee for review, approval and publication. The participation in the formulation of the national standards signifies that the research level, technical achievements, and industry influence in relevant fields of the Energy and Chemical Industry Technology Institute of our university have reached a relatively high level and have been recognized by domestic counterparts.
Professor Xu Guangwen of our university was appointed by the National Standardization Management Committee in 2017 as the Vice Chairman of the Coal Chemicals Branch of the National Coal Chemical Standardization Technical Committee. At the 2017 Annual Conference and the National Standards Review Conference, the “Coal Pyrolysis Technology Classification Norms” declared by the Energy and Chemical Industry Technology Institute of our university, was recommended as one project of Coal Chemicals Branch of the National Coal Chemicals Standardization Technical Committee.
